AC / DC motors
This page is AC and DC motors only. The Jubail shop also repairs AC/DC magnets and other AC/DC machinery on their own pages. Motor work: AC stator rewind, bearings, and terminals; DC armature rewind, commutator, brushgear, and field coils. Machines come from Dammam and other Saudi sites.
DC motors fail at the commutator as often as in the winding. Both are measured before copper is cut. Magnets and other AC/DC machines are booked as separate jobs.

Questions
Asked before the first visit
- Do I need to bring the machine to Jubail?
- Rewind and shop balancing are done in Jubail. Site diagnosis and some generator or mechanical work can be done in Dammam or elsewhere.
- What information should I send with a request?
- Nameplate photo, kW or kVA, voltage, speed, fault symptoms, and the city of the machine. That shortens the first call.
